The cause of stress

With the quick pace of life, stress plays a more and more important role in our daily life because it can cause different effects not only negative one such as illness but also positive one such as strong forward momentum. So it’s necessary for us to study the conflict causes of stress in order to release ourselves and make the effects positive. From my point of view, there are three main causes for the stress such as school problems, financial problems and relationship problems.

Firstly, school stress, which comes from a lot of homework and endless exams, affects a large numbers of students. In China, middle school and high school students have classes from 8a.m to 6p.m every weekday. When they go back home from school, they should spend at least 2 hours on homework which is difficult. What is worse, some students are sent to have extra classes such as math and physic on weekends. Moreover, not only parents but also teachers always focus on their grades. If they do not get a high mark or ranking, they may be scolded. So students are stressful.

The second cause is financial problems, which means some people are stressful because they lack of money. There is a saying in China "Money is not omnipotent, but people cannot live without money absolutely." People will feel stressful if they do not have enough money to live well. For example, some workers do not earn much, but they need to pay for their child's tuition fee and look after their old parents. They may think about better life all the day that stress will be caused.

Last but not least, relationship is also a important cause of stress such as the change of relationship between relatives or friends. There are many cases of commit suicide in our country. Most of the cases are caused because one parts company with her/his boyfriend or girlfriend. They think it has been the end of the world after they parted. They lost their love and they feel humiliated. As a result, they are stressful so that they choose to commit suicide. Furthermore, some people may be stressful after they quarrel with others because they consider that their friendship or relatives' love have been broken down.

In conclusion, a number of events can cause stress. I think three causes school problems, financial problems and relationship problems are the most important facts. There's nothing wrong with a little pressure, but excess stress may leads to illness. So it’s really important for us to know where the stress come from and try to change stress into motivity.
