This weekend, I have been to Chicago. It was a really intersesting and pressing trip.
I left to Chicago last Friday without attending the ESL class because my parents arrived in O'Hare airport at 8:00p.m. I have to set off at 3:30p.m. in order to meet them at airport. On the way to the airport, I was so excited that can't fall asleep.I missed my parents so much.
(4 hours passing...)
I arrived the airport earlier than my parents, I waited in the terminal 5 for about half an hour. While my cell phone was ringing, I did not see my parents but a big cute bear coming this way. I was really confused. Suddenly, my parents appeares behind the bear which was the gift they send to me. I was so moving that I gave my parents an affectionate hug.
Then we went to the hotel. We talked a lot about my life in the U.S. We ordered a large pizza to eat. We were so happy that the family got together again. We slept late at night because we were really excited.
On Saturday, we went to the Chinatown. That place was familiar to us. We could eat all kinds of Chinese food there and we could also buy a lot of goods. We got there about 2 o'clock. We did not have breakfast or lunch, so we were so hungry. We decided to eat the hot pot which is famous in China. We ordered lots of dishes, such as beef, vegetables, tofu and so on because of our hunger. After that,it was about 6 o'clock, we went for a walk. The moonlit scene in Chicago was really beautiful. My parents enjoyed the Michigan Lake and high buildings in downtown. And then we went back to the hotel. We slept earlier that day.
On Sunday,we woke up early. And then we went to downtown by train. After we had breakfast, we started shopping. I bought many things, two pairs of shoes, one bag,one sweater and a pair of gloves. I like my parents because they bought many things which I liked very much for me. However, they would leave for Miami in the afternoon. I would come back to the university 6:30. They saw me off in the airport. I said goodbye to them, but I cannot help crying. I loved my parents and I would miss them so much.
